Information that may be handled
The website is intentionally designed to collect very little information.
- Direct communications. If you choose to send an email, the message may include your name, email address, professional details, message content and any attachments you provide.
- Technical delivery and security data. Website hosting, network and security providers may process limited technical information such as an IP address, browser or device characteristics, requested pages, timestamps and diagnostic information needed to deliver and protect the site.
- Third-party media requests. The Research, Writing & Media page displays video poster images delivered by YouTube. When that page loads, Google or YouTube may receive technical request information. A no-referrer setting is used to limit the page information transmitted.
The site owner does not currently operate contact forms, user accounts, comments, newsletter registration, payment processing, advertising pixels or website analytics. The site owner does not sell personal information or use it for behavioral advertising.
How information is used
Limited information may be used to:
- respond to a message or professional inquiry;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the website;
- prevent misuse and protect legal rights; or
- comply with applicable law or a valid legal request.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on legitimate interests in operating and protecting the site, steps taken at your request, consent where required, or compliance with legal obligations.
Service providers and international processing
Personal information may be processed by providers that support website hosting, network delivery, security and email. Those providers may operate in Israel or other countries and process information under their own terms and applicable safeguards. Information may also be disclosed where required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety and security.
External links—including YouTube, LinkedIn, Google Scholar and publishers— are governed by the destination site's own privacy practices after you select them.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site owner does not intentionally deploy non-essential cookies or tracking technologies. Technical providers may use mechanisms that are strictly necessary to deliver, secure or control access to the site. If analytics, embedded media, a contact form, scheduling or other interactive services are added later, this notice and any required consent controls will be updated before those services are used.
Retention and security
Direct correspondence is retained only as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain professional records, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations. Technical records are retained according to the practices of the relevant hosting and security providers. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
